Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to create something truly great. This is certainly true of Berlin-based Mancunians Wedding's newest single 'Hands In The Till'. Driven by disillusionment, songwriter Thomas Craig explains, “I was heavily depressed working a zero hours part-time job to enable a musical dream that didn’t exist, it had to stop. Having a hand in the till seemed like a funny spin on how shit my future prospects had become. An end became a beginning." The band's Art Is Hard debut overcomes those feelings of hopelessness and manages to make light of the modern musician's struggle. Musically 'Hands In The Till' channels the jangle-pop of Real Estate with the rough edges of Parquet Courts.
